Holiday to Year End: Maximize the Message

Holiday campaigns are so yesterday! Right? Don’t forget that some of our clients are last minute shoppers and those pesky New Years resolutions are coming up fast.

Local Brick & Mortar Retailers — Drawing customers in-store as shipping windows close can offer significant opportunities for increasing December revenue. Mobile phone use for checking ads and discounts is up again over last year. Focus the message and call-to-action on an incentive to shop in person. This also allows retailers to up sell with point of purchase gift deals and indulgences for the shopper herself/himself.

Service Companies — HVAC, plumbing, and auto repair providers can take advantage of the season since emergency repairs often occur along with changeable weather and extra guests. The right message promoting fast, efficient, and stress-relieving customer service can boost year-end sales.

Personalize & Streamline — Clients in most categories will benefit from creative with a customer-centric, personalized approach. Keep the consumer in mind and send them content they want to see during the holidays. For example: A generic membership discount to “the gym” might get overlooked in the barrage of holiday ads, but a well-designed ad that promotes customized training sessions and a welcoming environment hones in on a particular customer profile— those who want support and guidance in keeping their resolutions past January 30th.
